Privacy Policy

Last updated June 13, 2026

Effective Date: 13 June 2025

Last Updated: 13 June 2026

1. Who We Are

Jesus Nation Online is a church ministry community operating through the website and application available at jesusnation.app. We serve our church community through ministry programs, pastoral support, online and in-person gatherings, and related services. Our support team is reachable at [email protected].

This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who interact with our platform — including members, visitors, ministry program participants, and anyone who contacts us through any channel we make available.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that is necessary to serve you well as a ministry community. We do not collect information for commercial advertising purposes.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Name and email address — collected when you create an account, register for a program, or first make contact with us through any channel we provide
  • Contact and personal details — such as phone number, address, or profile information you choose to share
  • Payment and giving information — collected when you make a donation or purchase a ministry resource. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we store confirmation references and order context, not raw card details
  • Ministry engagement information — including enrollment in programs such as Women on Fire (WoF), ISOS, IVP Online, IVP Face to Face, Youth Ministry, or the Prophetic Channel
  • Proof of payment documents — uploaded as part of order confirmation processes
  • Support correspondence — messages sent to us through any support channel we make available
  • Testimonials — submitted voluntarily through the platform

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Account activity and session data — when you log in or interact with the platform
  • Program participation history — including enrollment dates, attendance patterns, and engagement signals across ministry programs
  • Care signals — patterns we observe across your interactions that help us understand how we can serve you better
  • Device and browser information — standard web analytics such as browser type, device type, and referral source

2.3 Information From Third Parties

  • If you were previously a member through our prior platform, your historical records — including orders, directory information, and participation history — may have been migrated to our current system
  • Our support system may receive and store information shared in support interactions

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and membership
  • Process giving, orders, and ministry resource access
  • Enroll you in and administer ministry programs you have registered for
  • Operate our support channels, which use your name, email, and interaction history to provide contextually relevant help
  • Provide proactive pastoral care — our team uses engagement signals from your participation history to follow up with you where we sense a need. This is ministry-driven, not algorithmic marketing
  • Respond to support requests raised through any channel we operate
  • Send ministry communications — updates about programs, events, and pastoral messages. These are relational, not transactional marketing
  • Improve the platform and ministry services based on how our community uses them
  • Maintain accurate historical records for ministry continuity and accountability

4. Pastoral Care and Proactive Outreach

One of the ways we serve our community is by paying attention. We monitor engagement patterns across our ministry programs — not to profile or score you, but to notice when someone may benefit from a personal conversation, a check-in, or pastoral support.

When our team observes signals that suggest you may need care — such as disengagement from a program you were active in, a support request that touched something personal, or patterns consistent with a difficult season — a member of our ministry team may reach out to you directly.

This outreach is always human-led and relational. It is not automated, not marketing, and not a transaction. It is pastoral care.

If you would prefer not to receive proactive pastoral outreach, you may indicate this preference by contacting us at [email protected].

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

We share information only with the following categories of trusted providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the platform and serve you:

Infrastructure and Hosting

  • Our primary database and authentication provider, operating within the European Union
  • Our application hosting provider

Communications

  • Our email delivery provider — used for transactional and relational ministry communications

Support

  • Our helpdesk platform — conversations and support requests may be stored and managed here. Support is available at support.jesusnation.app and [email protected]

Payments

  • Our payment processor handles payment transactions. We retain order reference data and confirmation context, not raw payment credentials

All third-party providers are contractually required to handle your data appropriately and may not use it for their own marketing or resale purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to serve you as a member of the Jesus Nation community. We also retain information where required by applicable law or for legitimate ministry accountability purposes.

Support interactions and correspondence are retained to maintain continuity of pastoral care and to allow our team to serve you well over time.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see Section 9). Some information may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form for ministry planning purposes after a deletion request is fulfilled.

7. Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously. Our platform implements access controls, encrypted data transmission, and signature verification for all third-party integrations. Administrative functions are protected by environment-level controls accessible only to authorised personnel.

No system is perfectly secure. If you have a security concern, please contact us at [email protected].

8. Youth and Children

Jesus Nation operates a Youth Ministry program. We are particularly careful about the information of younger members. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information without appropriate consent should contact us at [email protected] so we can review and address the matter promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — the right to request erasure of your personal information, subject to our retention obligations
  • Portability — the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Objection — the right to object to certain uses of your information
  • Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, the right to withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We aim to respond to all requests within 30 days.

10. Cookies and Local Storage

Our platform uses cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and provide a seamless experience. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.

You may adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, but this may affect the functionality of the platform.

11. International Data Transfers

Jesus Nation Online serves a global church community. Your information may be processed in data centres located in the European Union and potentially in other regions through our third-party providers.

We take appropriate steps to ensure that international transfers of your personal information are made in compliance with applicable data protection law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate or in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email to the address associated with your account.

The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this document. Continued use of the platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
